Want to learn karate? Play basketball? Go on a trip? The Recreation Department offers programs for Lyons residents of all ages. Recreation programs include such family, adult, and teen programs as dog obedience, ceramics, painting, sewing, home decorating, parenting, aerobics, and self defense. Children are offered a variety of activities, including painting, crafts, soccer, t-ball, bowling, music, and cheerleading.

All Lyons Recreation Department programs and events, with the exception of those that involve traveling, take place in either Lyons, Brookfield, Riverside, or North Riverside.
