Elected Officials

The Village of Lyons is governed by a Village President and six member Board of Trustees, all of whom are elected for four year staggered terms. The Board is the legislative body of the Village government. All administrative work is performed under the direction of the Village Manager, who is appointed by the Village President and Board of Trustees. Board of Trustees meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month. It is in this meeting where the Board votes on issues and the public is allowed to comment on any agenda item. All meetings are open to the public and are held in the Council Chambers, located at the Lyons Village Hall, 4200 S. Lawndale Avenue.
