Due to the increases in water rates from the City of Chicago, the Village of Lyons is implementing a variable water rate adjustment beginning Feb 1, 2024.
The water rates are as follows:

| Multi-Family: | $95.00 per billing cycle | 4-49,999 gallons -$20.50 50,000 gallons or more – $25.50 |
| Commercial: | $150.00 per billing cycle | 4-49,999 gallons -$20.50 50,000 gallons or more – $25.50 |
Garbage rates per container are as follows:
- 35 gallon container – $36.28 per billing cycle
- 65 gallon container – $45.56 per billing cycle
- 95 gallon container – $54.86 per billing cycle
