Senior Christmas Party
Mark your calendars for our Senior Christmas Party on Sunday, December 10, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Lyons Village Hall. Doors open at noon. We invite all seniors to join us for an afternoon of food, music, and holiday cheer. We can’t wait to see you soon!
Children’s Breakfast with Santa
We’re kicking off the holiday season with our annual Children’s Breakfast with Santa on Sunday, December 3 at the Lyons Village Hall from 10 AM – 12 PM. It will be a morning of food, crafts, and pictures with Santa. Bring the family and join us for fun holiday festivities.
Village Hall Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday
Village Hall will be closing on Wednesday, November 22 at 5 PM and remain closed through the weekend in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. There will be no garbage pickup on Thursday, November 23rd. Thursday’s garbage route will be picked up Friday and Friday’s route will be picked up Saturday.
Veterans Day Ceremony
This Saturday, November 11, is our annual Veterans Day Ceremony. Join us at the Lyons Village Hall at 11 AM to honor and pay tribute to all who have served. We hope to see you there!
Pickleball Clinics
We’re excited to launch Pickleball Clinics this month at the Smith Park Tennis Courts. Each 90 minute session will be led by Coach Barb and Coach Ed. Clinics will go over rules, scoring, court positioning, and mechanics. Each clinic requires pre-registration (limit 8 people per session). Sessions are free for all participants. Halloween Celebration
Our annual Halloween celebration will take place Tuesday, October 31. Monsters in Smith Park is from 4 PM – 8 PM. There will be hayrides, music, games, candy, bounce houses, and more. Trick-or-Treating throughout the Village starts at 3 PM and goes until 7 PM. We’re looking forward to another fun community celebration this Halloween!
Fall Fitness Classes
Fitness classes are back this fall! Trainer Stephan Alheim and his TA4 fitness instructors will be leading fitness classes from Tuesday, September 19 – Saturday, October 28. Fitness classes will be held every Tuesday at 5 PM and every Saturday at 11:30 AM. Yoga classes will be on Wednesdays at 5 PM. All classes will be held at Smith Park
Fall Clean Up
Fall Clean Up will be the week of Monday, September 11 – Friday, September 15 on your regularly scheduled garbage day. Music in the Park 2023
Music in the Park is back! Join us starting this Wednesday, July 12 – Wednesday, August 30 for our weekly Music in the Park. Each week a different band will take the stage from 6 PM – 9 PM at Veterans Park. There will also be various food vendors throughout the summer. So mark your calendars and come join us
Summer Yoga Classes
Summer Yoga Classes are taking place every Wednesday at 6 PM. They will be held on the tennis courts in Smith Park (in the case of inclement weather they will be moved to the Village Hall Community Room). Classes are free for Lyons residents and $5 for non-residents. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mat and water bottle.
